WW2 German 18Lt Luftwaffe marked Trinkwasser

The rare hard to find18Lt Trinkwasser water container.. this was the largest of the Trinkwasser water containers so had large loops on the top and bottom for the attachment of straps for carridg. Used in field kitchens and in the field on operations. The condition is fair with heavy use wear. No splits or holes in the metal. The bottom strap loops are present and intact. The lid is correct but missing the sealing rubber and lock pin. It has been used to carry oil or grease at some time so the inside has some residue. This Trinkwasser is Luftwaffer marked to the base. Overall a good used rare container.
