A loverly 1940 German NSU Pony 100 motorcycle.. History she was abandoned in the Netherlands by the Germans on their retreat and then salvaged by a local village shop owner. He used it for many years to deliver goods to his local customers. The bike was then layed up in a shed in the late 50s until rescued and sold to a Military Museum in Germany. The musuem owned it for many years but then had to close and it was sold off. The bike being purchased by a motor cycle dealer In the Netherlands. I purchased the bike in 2013. She was then put into Normandy Camoflage to reflect a bike in the Normandy D-Day period. The bike starts and idles but cuts out when moving off Carb floods needs some fettling . Brakes all work horn and front lamp ok the rear not wired in. The bike does not have a UK V5 as been in my musuem and never on the road, so a new owner would need to applied for a NOVA I’d in the UK. I have the Dutch plates with the bike an original user manual and the Dutch log book. She was last registered in 1958.
